A Conceptual logo design for a recovery-based health awareness & linkage to care organization.
Client: A Path to Light (P2L)
Story: When my friend Russell starting talking about an idea for an organization that helps get addicted people back on track I got excited. When I heard the name I new I actually already had designed the perfect logo for his organization. The logo I designed and submitted to a World AA convention in sunny Florida spoke to the cause and visually read like a literal path to light. Although the organization is still in it’s infancy I was happy pass the logo along.
A local neighborhood pet services company.
Client: Patricks Pet Care
Story: I met Patrick through a mutual friend and he stated that his dog walking biz was exploding and he needed a strong logo so people would recognize him and his walkers. After months working a rebrand we decided to stick with his current name and to develop a logo for that. I quickly put togther the Paw P, a logo I had in mind. He has since taken his biz to the next level with two brick and mortar daycare center among other pet related ventures.
50 years to equality -
A colorful logo design for the LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce DC Metro Area
Client: The Equality Chamber of Commerce – DC Metro Area (ECCDC)
Story: I met Robyn at one of the last CAGLCC monthly get togethers. We chatted about photography while watching the sun set over the key bridge, a vantage point i’d never seen before. During our chat she mentioned the rebrand they were working on and that they needed a logo. Two months or so later we decided on what I call the ECC button.
“Ryan was instrumental in our rebrand to the Equality Chamber of Commerce DC Metro Area (ECCDC), to reflect our commitment to promoting the DC area’s LGBTQ business community. He presented a number of quality options, and helped us ultimately land on a design that sees a broadly positive reception from our members and the wider LGBTQ community. As the Chamber’s president, I appreciate that he gave us a logo and set of design standards that we are proud of, and I show off the work as much as I can. I highly recommend Ryan for his innovative ideas and ability to create a design that reflects the core goals of the client.”

A DC-Based Pediatric Therapy Clinic
Story: Omololu is a good friend of mine. He asked me to help him with his new business idea to use his OT training to provide therapies to children. We initially came to the jumping man/woman to express achievement. We struggled to get the achiever to work well with most fonts so I decided to draw one that took on a similar style. I then added colors for each letter to bring it all together so it was fun and we all know kids love color so it was appropriate. I think the parents like color too.
